Congress got 4.59% in 2022 — the lowest in the constituency since 2012. BSP collapsed from 25.79% (2017) to 8.55% (2022). Those ~17 points went somewhere — largely to SP, with the BJP's vote share also growing. Congress has no structural ground game here. This is the starting position any honest campaign has to acknowledge.
